Aspects of a Teaser Trailer

teaser campaign, also known as a pre-launch campaign, is an advertising campaign which typically consists of a series of small, cryptic, challenging advertisements that anticipate a larger, full-blown campaign for a product launch or otherwise important event. These advertisements are called "teasers" or "teaser ads". A teaser trailer for an upcoming film, television program, video game or similar, is usually released long in advance of the product, so as to "tease" the audience.

The trailer will consist of multiples cuts and fades; in order to create and mirror the emotions that are visually on show in the scenes. The use of dramatic and fast-paced cuts will help to heighten the intensity of the trailer. This technique will be accompanied by the composition of music; probably a well-renown piece which has been used many times before. The music will be used to create the pace that the trailer will go at, I want this to create a feeling of snapshots of my character's life, with few in-depth pieces, but many ambiguous clips, in order to create suspense and to capture viewer interest.
